Welcome to the Street of Blue Plaques shop!
DISCOVER and share details of someone who lived in your house all those years ago. Was it a servant or a saggar maker’s bottom knocker? An office clerk or an ostrich feather curler? A High Court judge or a steel bar bender? LET'S FIND OUT.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Danny will research any UK address through the censuses 1841-1921 & 1939 and create a plaque featuring the most interesting former resident. So expect A NICE SURPRISE! Available in three formats. Each design will be unique, specific to your address, celebrating a real former resident of your home, as if they were famous.
DON’T WORRY if no data is available, or it’s not particularly interesting, we’ll let you know and offer a full refund*

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please note, the spirit of the research is to find interesting former residents of an address and is not intended to be a house history service
We use available online census information only, and make every reasonable effort to locate your address but it cannot be guaranteed eg because house numbers or street names have changed, or the address was unoccupied or hadn't yet been built. In which case you'll be advised and refunded in full
* In the unlikely event that NO information is available for your address, we'll offer a full refund (at a cost of approx £1.75 to us - as Paypal handling fees are non-refundable)
** we will always search as many censuses as possible (once a decade from 1841 to 1921 & 1939) and select the most interesting former resident to illustrate a lost or evocative occupation of its time
*** 1939 residents born less than 100 years ago today, ie everyone born 1922 or later, will have their information redacted, obscured as a form of data protection
**** Due to the bespoke, address-specific nature of these products we're unable to accept returns. Your statutory rights are unaffected
